Vice President of Engineering

We are looking for a seasoned and strategic leader for the role of Vice President of Engineering. In this pivotal role, you will lead our engineering department and aid in the strategic direction of our blockchain technology initiatives. You will be instrumental in product development, setting the engineering vision of the company, and leading our team of talented engineers.
Responsibilities:
Lead the engineering department's operational and strategic planning, including fostering innovation, planning projects, and organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources. Develop technical aspects of the company's strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals. Oversee the development and maintenance of our blockchain technology products and services. Discover and implement new technologies that yield a competitive advantage. Build quality assurance and data protection processes. Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance. Use stakeholders' feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology. Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced technical degree and/or MBA preferred. Proven experience as a VP of Engineering or in a similar leadership role. Experience in blockchain technology, distributed systems, and cryptography. Understanding of budgets and business-planning. Ability to conduct technological analyses and research. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Strategic thinking and strong problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in a startup environment. Solid understanding of blockchain technologies, smart contracts, and decentralized applications. Knowledge of Ethereum, Bitcoin, and other major blockchain ecosystems. Familiarity with blockchain testing tools and best practices. Senior Blockchain Developer

Deep Understanding of Blockchain Principles: The candidate should have a solid understanding of blockchain principles and how they apply to various use cases. This includes understanding concepts like distributed ledger technology, consensus mechanisms, smart contracts, and decentralization. Experience with Blockchain Platforms: The candidate should have hands-on experience with several blockchain platforms like Ethereum, Bitcoin, Hyperledger Fabric, Corda, etc. Familiarity with Decentralized Applications (DApps): Experience in designing and developing DApps is essential. This includes understanding how to create frontend interfaces that interact with the blockchain and smart contracts. Knowledge of Cryptography: Since blockchain technology heavily relies on cryptography, a deep understanding of cryptographic principles, hashing, public-key cryptography, etc., is crucial. Experience with Peer-to-Peer Networks: Given that blockchain operates on P2P networks, understanding the operation, benefits, and potential vulnerabilities of these networks is vital. Experience with Cross-chain Technology: Understanding of cross-chain technology such as Polkadot, Cosmos, etc., that enable communication and interoperability between different blockchains. Back-end Development Skills: Proficiency in back-end programming languages like C++11, Node.js, Python, Java, etc., for server-side development related to blockchain applications. Understanding of Blockchain Scalability Issues and Solutions: Knowledge of Layer 2 solutions like Plasma, Lightning Network, etc., to help scale blockchain applications. Senior Web Developer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Web Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, creating, and enhancing our website and web applications to deliver a seamless, intuitive experience for our users. You will collaborate closely with our design and development teams to turn our product vision into a reality.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and secure website and web applications. Work closely with project managers, UX designers, other developers, and stakeholders to ensure delivery of high-quality web solutions. Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code adhering to best software development practices. Integrate data from various back-end services and databases. Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them to operations and activities. Create and maintain software documentation. Conduct website performance tests, troubleshoot and solve code-related issues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in web development. Proficient in modern web development languages and frameworks such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React.js, Node.js, etc. Familiarity with CMS platform like WordPress, Drupal, etc. Strong knowledge of web standards, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility. Experience with RESTful Services and APIs. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail.
